CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU
‘BOB MARLEY’

When the reggae star Bob Marley died of cancer in a Miami hospital at the age of 36, he left behind an estate worth $30 million and rising.

He also had a wife and four children, and seven more children from relationships with other women. Although he didn’t leave a will, all might have been well for his extended family. Under Jamaican law, his wife would have received 55% of the estate and the children shared the remaining 45%. But that was before a forged document turned fairness upside down.

This film unravels the complexities of the various claims to Marley’s fortune and follows a former band member’s attempt to sue the estate for £60m in royalties.
